Hazelip School of Theology Admission Process
To be considered for admission to the Hazelip School of Theology, a student must submit the pieces listed below (purple indicates link to a pdf or web address). Send all application and enrollment materials to:

2. Application Fee A non-refundable $50.00 application fee ($75 for international students) must be submitted by check before the application is evaluated. Pay the fee online here (or mail a check to the address above).
3. Self-evaluation essay A 750-1000 word essay concerning your religious heritage, career goals, and how the degree program will contribute to the achievement of those goals.
4. Three Reference Forms Submit one from each of the following. It works best to ask in person or over the phone, and to give your reference this signed form along with an appropriately addressed, stamped envelope.
- University professor or administrator
- Church minister or leader
- Employer or professional
5. Official transcript(s) from each undergraduate institution from which you earned credit (one must show degree conferral) and from prior graduate institutions from which you earned credit. (If you need a transcript from Lipscomb University, go to the Office of the Registrar's site here in order to request a transcript. They can send your transcript through campus mail, but we cannot request it for you.)

To be considered for admission to the Hazelip School of Theology, applicants must submit all of the above items at least three full weeks prior to the first day of class. (To view Lipscomb University's Academic Calendar, click on Academics on the left, then on Academic Calendar.)

Applicants will receive a letter outlining admission and applicable scholarships, typically within one week of completing the application process.
